LadyCare: does it work?

For women suffering from menopause symptoms such as hot flushes, it can sometimes be hard to know what to do. With a range of medical and natural options available, it’s important to do your research to make the right choice for you.

Some people believe the LadyCare magnet can help – a discreet device, it is thought to help by rebalancing the nervous system.

But does it work? At one of our menopause in the workplace events, colleagues from Wiltshire Police were discussing this product – so we asked them to put it to the test and tell us what they thought.

The results

Here’s what our volunteers had to say:

“I was sceptical about whether or not the magnet would work and I can confirm it does. I still have some symptoms but these are now reduced which has a positive impact on my daily life. It’s so easy to wear and you sometimes forget you are wearing it and no-one else realises you are! I have already recommended the magnet to other people who are struggling with symptoms.”

“I am afraid I didn’t notice any improvements in my symptoms.”

“This little magnet has given me back my energy, I still have other symptoms that may or may not be associated with menopause but in time I hope the magnet will help it.”

“The LadyCare magnet is easy to use and you completely forget about it. I would recommend to anyone who is going through the menopause. It had definitely made a difference to the symptoms I have been experiencing. Thank you for allowing me to trial this.”

“I am so pleased I volunteered to take part. I was going mad before using LadyCare especially at night. My sleep was little to nothing and I was always feeling tired. I can now say I don’t have to leave my windows open all night. My symptoms are so much better.”

Improving symptoms

Our respondents reported a number of symptoms before trying LadyCare, including hot flushes, anxiety, lack of energy, poor quality of sleep, night sweats and chronic fatigue. Most noticed an improvement in 1-4 weeks. Improvements included:

  • Fewer hot flushes during the day
  • Feeling less anxious
  • Increased energy
  • Chronic fatigue disappearing in just one day
  • Fewer night sweats
  • Better sleep
  • Increased concentration

Recommending LadyCare

We asked them to rate the severity of symptoms beforehand and after using Ladycare, with the vast majority declaring a noticeable – and in some cases dramatic – improvement in symptoms. Over half would be happy to highly recommend the product, while every respondent said they would recommend it to other women.

When it comes to menopause, every woman is different and what works for one may not work for another. As ever, it’s important to keep yourself fully informed, seek advice from your GP and find out what works best for you.
