About Jo Moseley

I’m Jo Moseley, Mum to two boys and I live and work on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. After years of being inactive, I completed a (slightly crazy!) fundraising challenge for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2014, rowing a million metres and marathon in memory of my Mum. Not only did we raise a huge amount of money, I also rediscovered the joy of movement and how positively it impacted my mental & physical wellbeing. Since then, I completed #Couch25k for the first time in December 2017 (just before my 53rd birthday) and am running 1000km in 2018. I’m also a keen Plogger - picking up litter whilst I run & I write and speak about plastic pollution and how we can help. I love the sea - bodyboarding, wild swimming & paddleboarding. I’m also learning to surf - this may take a long time! At 53, cartwheels and headstands have become a daily favourite. One of my goals is to share how being active can have such a positive impact on how we experience the menopause and help us embrace body confidence in midlife.
